I know that the raw food diet has so many benefits for health, longevity, and mental well being. But sadly, I lack the willpower needed to give up all of my beloved cooked foods. My wonderment is, if I eat a diet that is largely raw, but not completely, will I still experience some of the benefits, if to a lesser degree?|||the more whole foods you eat, the healthier your diet is.
thats just my opinion.
as for the cravings and stuff.. it sounds like youre still addicted to some cooked foods.. maybe you could try going 100% raw for a while? after a couple of weeks the cravings went away for me and i started craving fruits and veggies.
good luck :]|||A healthier diet, no matter how extreme, is better and will have benefits, big or small, if you lack the willpower try substituting things such as a lower calorie milk or etc. instead of regular "whatever"

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>|||It is fine to do some raw, some cooked, just as long as you make sure that you are keeping things in balance and being aware of getting all the nutrients you need. Even if you don't go 100%, you will still see some benefits from doing raw. I myself am raw, and have a lot more energy since switching over, and also never experience things like indigestion, gas, bloating, lethargy, constipation, diarrhea, amongst other more serious health problems. I have solid blood pressure, low cholesterol, and, I check in with my doctor for check-ups every so often, and I am healthier than ever.
I would definitely support incorporating raw food into your diet, even if it's just a little at a time.

Cooked food is addictive and can be kicked with a 12-step process like any other addiction. Some people believe it is easier to be 100% true to raw foods. Personally, I avoid, but do not exclude bad food from my diet. I'll eat small portions of steak or desert if I'm a dinner guest, and people just assume that I'm dieting.|||There is no health benefits to eating a raw vegan diet.
