I am australia and we don't have many imported brands due to the raw food when imported are irradiated, which someone how damages the vitamins. I can't cook for her as our frige is too small
Most of what available here is what you'll American and UK call veterinary recommended crap, but my dog is doing fine on it and she looks good too.
Suggest some foods anyway. but don't expect me to have them here.|||Can you get raw chicken from the grocery store?
Raw beef?
Liver?
Fish?
Foul?
Rabbit?
Kangaroo?
You can still feed a raw diet without buying pre-packaged food specifically for dogs. And you don't have to cook it either.|||My dogs have done just fine on Purina. I've owned dogs for over 20 years and never had a problem. And I live in the US.|||So you are saying that in the whole of here you live you cannot find raw chicken, beef, roo, and other meat sources at the grocery store that hasn't been imported?
I am also sure there are a farmer who raise animals for meat that you could talk to as well.|||If you can't get good brands of food in Australia, then follow a trusted recipe for raw food. If you can get your hands on a book called Natural Health for Dogs and Cats by Dr. PitCairns then follow his recipes. I'm sure you will be able to find all the ingredients in Australia too.|||It is a problem, if you don't want to feed chicken carcases, everything else is just so expensive. I am not sure which state your from, but look at the below:
There is a New Zealand brand called ZiwiPeak that I have been interested in for a while (still haven't purchased it), I have been told that you can try Better Pets And Gardens stores - they will order food in for you, including ZiwiPeak and Orijen.
You can also try pookinuk, ask for a quote to deliver to you.

Can't beat that answer...I can only add to it, and I'll add that if your frige is small, you can buy a small deep freezer for 80-100 bucks...that's cheaper than the cheap watch I bought my dad for Father's Day today!!! LOL, KIDDING DAD!
