Vitamins A, C, E, B and Zinc are good for the immune system. E is plentiful in dark leafy vegetables, such as spinach, collard greens, kale, Swiss chard and turnip greens. Seeds, such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, as well as wheat germ are also plentiful in Vitamin E. A is found in sweet potatoes or yams, spinach and carrots. Sources of K include kale, collards, spinach and turnip greens. The best vegetable source of C is red bell peppers. B vitamins are found in leafy green vegetables. Mushrooms and peas are good sources of zinc. So all you need is a spinach salad with some red bell peppers and mushrooms.|||hi there, Carrots are very good for you. They contain a substance called carotene which is turned into vitamin A in the body. Celery is also an excellent raw food, full of fiber. Carrot and celery sticks and hummus are a nice way to make raw carrots more delicious. Kiwis are an excellent source of vitiman C and are particularly nice in fruit salads. Aside from this one of my favorite 'quick' dishes is blue berries, raspberries and strawberry with natural yogurt.
