Pros:
Greatly improved digestion
Improved circulation
Increased energy
Most people see a decrease in symptoms from chronic illnesses.
Weight loss

Cons:
Specialty equipment (juicer, dehydrator, spiral slicer) is needed for most recipes.
Recipes can be quite time consuming.
Ingredients can be hard to find, if you don't live near a Whole Foods.|||Cons:
Dealing with the social aspects. I've been doing this for almost 3 years.
Pros:
Incredible Health & recovered health
Energy to spare

I started out using a great Un-cook Book Raw Food Made Easy by Jennifer Cornbleet. Her recipes use simple basic everyday foods, & no fancy kitchen gadgets. I already as a well equipped cook/ kitchen had a Blender(cost about $20.), I did buy a Spiral Cutter( but went almost 2 years without one) . I did Juice before I became a RAW FOODIE so that too I also had.
Try it awhile then if you feel the need for the more involved food prep then you can buy a Dehydrator, Food Processor(I use a plain old Mandolin for my slicing). I do not find this any more time consuming than cooking from scratch. You just need to plan menus & have a few fav recipes that call for little pre-made things for those times when you are in a hurry or have forgotten to soak the almonds or such.
Most Raw Foodies I know personally eat very simple Lots of staight fresh Veggies & Fruits. Paul Nisson was here speaking last year, I made him a plate of food off the buffet for him to eat on the next morning. He just wanted fresh basic things none of the fancy time hog preped foods there.
Slaint茅(to your health)|||PROS:

BEST WAY OF LIFE

getting the most nutrients possible

CONS:

NOTHING BUT IT IS THE BEST WAY OF LIVING
