I've heard that raw meat and some vegetables are good for dogs but which ones?
I'm getting a Yorkie so what raw food would you recomend me to give her + the dry food when puppy and when she's an adult?|||Raw food should only be given if you have decided to feed your dog a full raw diet. A kibble fed dog won't be able to handle the occasional raw meat. Raw eggs can occasionally be given, but they are rich and may upset the dog's stomach.
If you are feeding kibble, don't even worry about raw meat.
Veggies can be given, they are not necessary, but many dogs like veggies. Just avoid onions and peppers. Broccoli may cause gas too.
ADD: Oh, and raw chicken bones don't splinter. Only cooked bones splinter.
http://www.rawfed.com|||Definitely dont give your dog chicken on the bone or any meat with a bone as they eat the bone and it splinters inside their stomach !|||you really should stick to raw OR dried but not both,.
there are various debates about whether dogs need or can even use vegetables in their diet, and a lot of people now feed meat only with a very varied (including bone)
There are plenty of websites and groups to join and learn from.
Add on--- Oh and raw chicken bones don't splinter only cooked ones do.
