Is it possible to be on a raw foods diet and not have to eat tofu or fish?|||The actual raw foods diet is vegan, Tofu & Fish are not supposed to be eaten. Tofu is processed & fish is a meat.
It is all about easy, healthy digestive system & these inhibit optimal digestion.
Raw foods are unprocessed, vegan foods. Like fresh vegetables, fruits, some raw nuts (not salted & roasted), nothing that has been heated to above 105-118 degrees.
so no processed flours, sugars, anything. ;)
as far as protiens - avocados, coconuts, nuts
sweeteners - agave, raw wild honeys, stevia
Lots of water|||I imagine you can eat raw foods you know like fruits and veggies.. but if you dont want to do tofu or fish, try lean chicken and turkey burgers. I pretty much did that and lost lots of weight. Good luck!
