For the past two days i have been 100 percent raw. For the past year i was probably around 80 or 85 percent raw though.
But this is the first time i've been 100 percent raw and for the past two days i have been having headaches. Is this normal when you first start going raw? Like is this a detox or something?
I appreciate any advice : )|||That's just all the last of the un-natural toxins leaving your body....make sure your only eating organic food too... the goverment sprays chemicals all over non-organic food to break our wills and make us easy to control....|||Most likely your diet is insufficient or not adequate and that's why you're having headaches. The most common thing that happens to you when you first start going raw is a mild upset stomach or digestion issues, which usually sort out after you purge your body of the toxins. Raw food diets are challenging and not for everyone. It's okay to eat small amounts of lightly cooked foods like steamed vegetables and flat breads some of the time. Make sure you are eating enough food each meal and eating a variety. Try including raw nuts, seeds and grains if you aren't already. Don't forget your body needs plenty of proteins, amino acids and enzymes in addition to vitamins and minerals. Lysine is important and can be obtained when you combine whole wheat with dairy. Always remember to supplement your diet with nutrients in capsule and powder form, look for the ones that list real plant sources on the label.|||Some foods just cannot be digested properly (or at all) when raw, such as potatoes. Some vegetables are poisonous when raw too.
As many vegetables have been modified over time to only be consumed when cooked, it sounds like your unnatural diet is making you ill.
