The elegant raw food "cuisine" that was (or still is, maybe?) served in high end raw food restaurants is actually extremely labor-intensive. Nothing is simple. So most people couldn't afford to eat that way, and they don't have the time or money to invest in the equipment it would take to prepare things like that at home. |||The problem with that is food hygiene. Most people who work in fast food restaurants are not trained at all in the food industry, so raw food may be very hazardous to members of the public. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but it might not be plausible.|||Why do you need a restaurant for raw foods? Not like there is any "cooking" involved. Go to the fridge, pick a raw carrot and munch on it. It's not that complicated. |||Only if there are enough people who are into the raw foods diet otherwise it would go out of business in no time. |||raw food? then why would you need a restaurant anyway? you don't need anyone to cook it for you.|||there's one in a town about 20 miles from where i am. it seems to be a hit, and gets rave reviews.|||You'd have one if there were a demand for it.|||no
|||Umm........isn't that why we have salad bars,,,,well we do in Australia!|||isn't that what we call v-8 juice.tmm
