I looked at a website telling what could be eaten on a raw food diet, but I'm confused. It says you can eat chickpeas, black beans, wild rice, oats, millet, etc, but how do you prepare them without cooking them?|||Yeah, you eat them after you sprout them. Raw "cookbooks" often have information on how to sprout, including sprouting times. try to get some of these books wether from your local library or you buy them on like amazon there great check them out|||It is not wise to eat raw beans and grains such as those you have named as the beans contain toxins which can make you sick if eaten raw. The grains on the other hand, contain nutrients which are not unlocked until they are cooked and often eaten with certain other foods.|||You soak them in water this isn't considered cooking them
they are dry when you buy them and you are rehydrating them to eat them
there should be long directions and quick directions on the bag.
