I always thought if you wasnt eating meat and only fruits and veggies that you would lose weight|||Well Meat (Protein) is super important for the body. It helps with rebuilding tissue, antibodies and enzymes for your body. Antibodies help fight off infection and enzymes break down carbs into energy as well. To answer your question, you can pretty much eat raw vegetables along with anything else you'd like. As long as your not living a sedentary lifestyle and exercise for a couple hours a week you should be able to maintain that weight. I eat whatever I want, and with a few hours of exercise a week I maintain my weight as well. So don't sweat it, and if its muscle you do not want to loose I'd keep meat in my diet or at least other foods that are high in protein. Also remember FIBER is very important as well!! Good luck|||Doesn't always work that way. Its all about how you prepare your food. Potatos are veggies but if you fry then or eat chips, its not going to help you lose weight. You should watch your proportions. One thing I really noticed works is spinach salad. I add beans to mine and other veggies. Because i work a desk job, the only carbs I have is the fruit I eat for breakfast then at night I will eat a grain like Quinoa or brown rice with my veggies/salad. Lots of beans help. Just stick to eating food in their whole form.|||Tuna
